Our CEO, Bear, loved the look of traditional skate shoes but hated the fit. They're built narrow, with minimal cushioning and aren't made for the way feet are actually shaped. So he decided to fix the fit, not the look. And thus, the Urban Recon 1 was born.

Traditional street shoes aren't made for the way feet are shaped. They look great, but hurt your toes, heels and arches. We decided to change that.
