    Solid everyday trainer with some real American flair.

    The Born Primitive Savage 1 Classic AV in Wheat Americana hits a nice sweet spot. It takes the performance DNA of the original Savage 1 (wide toe box, stable yet cushioned EVA midsole, good ground feel) and dresses it up in a clean, premium full-grain leather upper with that muted wheat/ Americana colorway. Looks sharp enough for casual wear but still feels like a training shoe underfoot.

    Comfort is excellent right out of the box — supportive without feeling stiff, and the 4mm drop keeps things stable for lifting while still being comfortable for walking around. Traction is solid and the overall build feels quality. Not the absolute most aggressive pure training shoe if you’re only doing heavy Olympic lifts or max-effort CrossFit, but for mixed training, gym sessions, and daily wear it’s hard to beat.

    Worth the money if you want something that performs and looks better than a typical trainer. Highly recommend.

    I recently bought the classics before a trip to Japan and they are without a doubt, the best shoes I have ever worn!

    Very comfortable and my feet felt better (toes spread out) the more I walked.

    Ordered 1/2 size bigger (had to exchange which was super quick and easy)
